About me

Welcome! I’m Lisa Hubris and I have been turing students in Saline and the surrounding areas for over 10 years. Additionally, I’ve worked for Saline Area Schools for over 15 years where I am a teacher assistant, working mostly in math classes at the middle school.

To help students succeed in all their math classes and on assessments, I work to help students build confidence in math along with their ability to do hard things, fostering an environment where students feel safe to try, to make mistakes, and to truly learn.

I am currently scheduling tutoring sessions for the fall, offering both online and in-person. In online tutoring we work together with an online whiteboard and audio/video chat. You need just two things: a computer (with speakers, webcam, and microphone) and a good internet connection. In-person tutoring will be done safely, using Covid safety protocols.
